I don’t claim to be disciplined at all, but I’m learning; it’s easy to say ‘I went there yesterday, so why go today? Nothing will have changed’.
So I go and walk the same paths, but differently. Like René Stevens I change the direction, the time of the day, the month, my companions and speed of passage. Do the same and exponentially increase your experiences!
I was out today, walking a familiar route, at a different cadence, stopping from time to time, listening, inspecting. Slow, nowhere pressing to go, I had this part of the Forest to myself.
