Les Pouillots sont des sylviadรฉs que lโon voit trรจs rarement en captivitรฉ. Trois espรจces diffรฉrentes sont les hรดtes de la forรชt de Soignes. Les Pouillots fitis et vรฉloce se ressemblent : tous deux ont les parties supรฉrieures dโun ton cendrรฉ olivรขtre et le dessous du corps jaunรขtre ; mais le vรฉloce est plus sombre et a les pattes dโun brun noirรขtre, tandis quโelles sont de couleur brun clair chez le fitis. Ils recherchent les buissons et les taillis oรน ils font entendre leur chant assez agrรฉable.
Note de lโรฉditeur : je qualifierais difficilement de chant le guilleret ยซ deux-notes ยป du Pouillot vรฉloce.

The warblers are members of the Sylviidae that are very rarely seen in captivity. Three different species inhabit the Forรชt de Soignes. The Willow Warbler and the Chiffchaff resemble one another: both have upperparts of an ashy olive colour and yellowish underparts; but the Chiffchaff is darker and has blackish-brown legs, whereas those of the Willow Warbler are light brown. They seek out bushes and thickets, where they make their quite pleasant song heard.
Editorโs note: I would hardly call the Chiffchaffโs jaunty two-noter a song.
