Work has started again by the former Foresterโs House at the Parking at Middenhut. The meadow has been cut back for winter and tree planting is underway - Linden or Lime trees, ๐ก๐๐๐๐๐ข๐ in French.
From the Parking they have planted two rows of them, about 2m apart, a Linden Walk if you will.
Go and have a look, if you can. I canโt see the path being open for long: Lindens are quite vigorous so surely the spacing is too close, too close for comfort unless the plan is to pollard when they are high enough to allow for human passage. Even then, two abreast may be tricky.
Time will tell.
