      Eye-catcher

I would imagine that if you are in the habit of reading my posts, you are not the sort of person who moves through the Forest oblivious to your surroundings, not shut away behind headphones, not glued to your phone, not tearing along on your bicycle.

You notice things, and we may well intersect when it comes to a freshly fallen tree or something else obviously remarkable. But there are other things which catch the eye and these are personal, related to how we see, how we move, how we are.

Take this miniature scene. Wood sorrel, some moss, scattered leaves of Beech and Oak. Something twiggy. Something green and straggly. Is this the sort of thing that catches your eye?
