It has been one of the wettest Junes for quite a while. With there being a damp autumn feel in the air, if not in the maturing green of the leaves, I thought to look for some fungi, to see what had responded to the weather.
I really am no expert and prefer trees to their consumers, but loosely speaking we have some kind of polypore, what could be an old lurid bolete and, I fancy, a rooting shank.
