There is a small circular path just off Brassinelaan, by La Chevalerie. It is called Reebokweg, Roe Deer Way.

One section of it is shown on the 1905 Stevens map, the Chemin des Chevreuils. By 1917 it had become a drève. It is a chemin once again, these days. The other section, the one slightly to the northwest, is newer. At one end, the path marker allows pedestrians but not cyclists. The other, surreally enough, the reverse.

Today, a combination of the holiday weekend and the threat of rain allowed me to walk the c.1500m loop in complete calm, listening to blackcaps (zwartkop, fauvette à tête noire) loudly disputing territories.
Should you walk this, consider the nature of the two sections. The air, the feel, the age, the ground. They will not escape you, the differences between this path of two ages.
Cooper Loop? Cooper was our Jack Russel. He walked this path many times, especially if the weather, like today, was less than ideal.
