A couple of weeks ago I led a small group from Boitsfort to the Chapelle de N.D. de Bonne Odeur. At one point we stopped and I spoke about asking permission of a Stinging Nettle (Ortie, Brandnettel) before taking young leaves or later in the year, seeds, for use in the kitchen. A polite request.
I demonstrated.
One member of the group asked if it worked in languages other than English.
