Drève de la Meute

I spoke a couple of days ago about the physical structure of the Forest, the shape of the ground, the 𝑣𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑜𝑛𝑠, things which resist the passage of time.

Should you reach the Belle Étoile and take the Drève de la Meute away from this old and once important 𝑟𝑒𝑙𝑎𝑖𝑠, you will soon encounter the same setting. The sunken path, not quite a 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒́𝑒 or ℎ𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑔, becomes apparent. And, should the sun’s rays glide perpendicularly across, you will recognise it immediately.
